Complementing the Performance Space
The newly constructed, 700-seat San Francisco Jazz Center is the first free-standing building in America built for jazz performance and education. Pulse Studio was brought in just two weeks prior to the event, which would feature performances by John Legend, David Blaine, David Spade. In just two weeks we sourced and delivered a design that reinforced the space’s intimacy and related to the lobby’s warm colors and yellow flowers. Our design featured a star curtain, atomic soft goods, and planter boxes with yellow flowers that hid the up-lighting and masonry jars, each with its own warm Edison bulb.
