Tom holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Ball State University. During Tom’s thesis year he began to explore the connection between film and architecture through 3d software. After graduating he worked at SOM, Eastlake Studio and McBride Kelley Baurer were he practiced traditional architectural design, while also specializing in architectural visualization. On July 5th, 2006 Tom started Pulse Studio. Since opening, Pulse Studio has worked with several types on organizations such as, architects, developers, production companies, landscape architects and non-for-profit organizations, marketing firms and end clients. Tom is head of business development as well as the creative director on most projects.
While continuing to work with clients, Tom continues to push the studio in new directions looking for new challenges and project opportunities. He believes that the key to our success is exceeding clients expectations.
Tom has a strong interest concerning the relation between film and architecture. He continues to study the connection between these two design mediums and translates this often into his visualization work. His work has been published in “Defining Digital Architecture” and “Far Eastern International Digital Architectural Design Award”, featuring digital explorations and investigations of architecture towards the 21st century.
